Membrane bioreactor (MBR) is the combination of a membrane process
like microfiltration or ultrafiltration with a biological
wastewater treatment process, the activated sludge process. It is
now widely used for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment.
When used with domestic wastewater, MBR processes can produce
effluent of high quality enough to be discharged to coastal,
surface or brackish waterways or to be reclaimed for urban
irrigation. Other advantages of MBR over conventional processes
include small footprint, easy retrofit and upgrade of old
wastewater treatment plants.
MBR is a kind of sewage treatment technics which combine Superfine
filter components and bioreactor. Membrane separation plant hold

Main Features

the aerobic system and the deep aerobic system are composed of

4. Sewage is first treated by anaerobic system and then treated by
aerobic system and deep aerobic system.
5. The biogas generated during the anaerobic treatment process can
be collected, purified and stored for energy use, and it can also
be discharged at a fixed point after deodorization.
